What is it about early summer that brings out singer-songwriters with synths and sighing, breathy vocals? Here we have another case in point with Tiny Fighter.
‘Perfect Game’ is present here in three forms – the original mix, which is very nice and summery. Then, there is the Step5 And Perambulum Remix. That really brings out the Portishead influence.
It also, sadly, shows off the fact that if she wants to improve, Tiny Fighter needs a wee bit more musical muscle. Finally, there is The Monolog Rockstars Remix, a little more drone-y and stretches the track into areas it really isn’t prepared for. More is to be hoped for next time.
