Witchrider boast of “living and breathing” their music. There is a cold air of arrogance, too, which blows lustily through their music.
As displayed by ‘Unmountable Stairs’, they certainly “live and breathe” their music. Which is really the main problem.
Witchfinder have also come out and said that musical style, to them is “not really that important”. This again shows through loud and clear on Unmountable Stairs. It doesn’t quite know what kind of album it wants to be.
They then go on to say that they have produced “eleven killer tracks of scuzzy alt-rock”. Maybe that’s what they heard in their heads only, because what is down here on plastic is, at best, an enjoyable mess. They’re being a Nirvana tribute band one minute and then in thrall to AC/DC the next, without any idea how they got there, nor of where they want to go next.

This must be the worst try of music journalism there is. 😀 incredible how you not only twist facts but also manage to lie! You should really consider doing something else. Karma is a bitch man… 😉
