The first thing that strikes one when this disc starts spinning is just how rough it sounds. The punky thrash sound dominates the album loud and clear and not a moment is wasted in getting it going. Every one of the acts seems to spill over with bile and hatred towards the world. Put together, they pack a hell of a punch into the 15 tracks on offer here. It says something about the speed and ferocity of the playing on display here that the longest song clocks in at 4:16. This kind of violent, in-your-face sound deserves a real live setting and it certainly gets it here. This is the kind of disc that will get you, the listener, very fired up, right from the get-go. It’s a great disc to put on when getting ready to go out and it has some fine, chunky melodies at its heart.
