It would appear that Mr. Reilly is making something of a name for himself. He has, to date, had several high-profile support slots and has used them wisely, to win over audiences in both the UK and Europe. These songs are clean, clear and easily relatable to day-to-day emotional ups and downs of people like you and I. Where most (or many) 19 year olds would be all smart-arsed and ironic about it, Reilly makes, in these songs, no secret about the way he feels about people and the world. And it sounds wonderful. Every instrument here (of which there are, admittedly, few) has been played by the man himself. He proves himself ably a master of all trades (or any he chooses to throw a jack at), allowing each component of sound its own wee moment in the sun, to ensure that the record has a thorough and deep sound. This again, works greatly in its favour, as it means again that you, the listener, will feel like you have missed something, some wee aural treat or nugget the first (or however many) time(s) around and will return to the disc again, to find out what that might be.
