This release from Faroes synth-rock duo The Ghost comes bundled with 4 remixes (taking up 24 minutes of a 27 minute CD), ranging from the obligatory forgettable dubstep one to a more commercial MGMT sound-a-like number. If we ignore these and concentrate on the actual single what we find isn’t bad at all; a well produced track featuring a strong female vocal and some well executed guitar playing. The style is commercial rock with a big dollop of Euro-dance cheese in the vocals and synths; the lyrics in particular wouldn’t be out of place at the Eurovision song contest. That’s not necessarily a bad thing though.
