A heady mix of heady electronica, orchestration and squalling electric guitar riffs, it combines beats with chamber arrangements while all the time Lilly’s vocals twist around the music like a 2024 relative of the Cocteau Twins; yes it is that good.
There are lyrical references to particle biology, internal worlds and “tiny gods” – the musical territory that this covers in just over four minutes is just incredible, dexterous but never forced, like it just flows naturally – it really is the most compelling track to get lost in.
