There is something very Foo Fighters-esque about the way this song jumps out and grabs you right by the throat.
The riffage bludgeons you into submission and the vocals scream you out and stare you right down to make damned sure you’re giving your full attention. It’s short, it’s sharp and it gets its message about wanting to have a good time across right here and right now.
It doesn’t mess about with meaningful lyrics or mournful, overlong and overplayed solos. The vocals are gruff, the guitars are quite new wavey and it doesn’t overstay its welcome in the way that far too many songs do these days. What more can one ask for from decent guitar pop bands?
