This is Tripwires’ second single and it’s a good piece of indie pop. It’s very catchy and uplifting and is certainly one to remember. The combination of guitars, drums and synths work well and the chanted chorus is fantastic.
In a genre that’s becoming evermore crowded, Tripwires will have to separate themselves. Most of the current crop of successful bands have done this with great sing-a-long songs that stick in the brain. This is a good start and certainly worth hearing more from this band.
