Fans of nu-metals slightly more intelligent mainstays will appreciate this effort from Montreal’s Sign of One, which is well recorded and features good old solid riffs that sound like they could cut right through you. The song itself is surprisingly catchy for what is essentially progressive metal, and singer Peter Sapienza sounds like he’s got a fondness for Maynard James Keenan’s various outputs. Solid enough, but likely to get lost amongst the genre’s many supernumeraries.
