‘Silverplated’ and ‘Broken Sea’ are two slices of pure 90s indie, with Bluetones-style jangly guitar, flashes of Ocean Colour Scene and Oasis and with a bit of the La’s thrown in. A polished and poppy effort, ‘Silverplated’ is a cheery summer tune which is obviously heavily influenced by Britpop.
But is the world ready for a Britpop revival already? I’m not sure, but if it is I’d expect Music Roll Exchange to be there or thereabouts.
