Quite possibly the next band from Scotland destined for international success, Make Model release their debut single ‘The Was’ on EMI Records following self-released debut ‘The LSB’ selling out its 7″ pressing.
Boasting members drawn from Fickle Public, Carson, Purple Munkie and Dance Lazarus Dance, the band have garnered an inevitable ‘supergroup’ tag, perhaps boosted by comparisons with the likes of Arcade Fire and Broken Social Scene.
They tour as part of Levis Ones To Watch, and there are 2 pairs of tickets for the Glasgow leg of the tour, at the Barfly on Sunday 28th along with Copy Haho and Xcerts, up for grabs.
