The Liquid Room was packed with people eager to see Canadian electronic artist Claire Boucher, aka Grimes, following the critical acclaim her third album, the 4AD-released Visions, has received.
Grimes was AMAZING, energetic and happy, as opposed to her colleague playing electric drums whose face never changed from ‘cool’.
But Grimes rocked the stage, with her great tunes and everyone in the room seemed to enjoy it (personally, I didn’t even mind the heavy crowd, which is unusual for me – the gig was just so good).
Joined by a skinny rave dancer in a skeleton T-shirt. Grimes’ vocals, a bit Kate Bush-like, are incredible, fitting her sound perfectly.
