Eliza Newman used to front Icelandic all-girl band Bellatrix, who made some fantastic, genuinely different records and were a storming live act. It’s deeply disappointing to have to report that ‘Change My Name’ sounds so indie by numbers. ‘Return to Me’ shows off her voice a little better, but still tryies to hard to be a haunting melody.
