Shrouded in parentheses, this is just under three minutes of pure pop heaven – Bis were always good and this second single from the recent LNFG album ‘Slight Disconnects’ captures them in full flight.
There is a great synth breakdown around halfway in, with some great production work by the band themselves – there will few singles this year that that have the attack, chaos, and middle-aged angst of this one, and respect due to all three original members for getting off their collective arses to go into battle again.
Hugely enjoyable, and a big inspiration to everybody doing DIY indiepop, in this shitty era!
