Four tracks of lyrically uninspiring, guitar-indie-by-numbers from Liverpool lads, Aspen Grove.
Opening track ‘Not Wasted on the Young’ ambles along inoffensively, bringing to mind a less tuneful Cosmic Rough Riders. Others are more upbeat and tread the well worn post-Bloc Party path.
The CD cover shows a boozy indie boy “dancin’ (really, would it kill you to use that extra g?) alone again” – put this on at a party and you could suffer a similar fate.
