The lead track in this Edinburgh trio’s EP, ‘Grave Love’ is propelled along by a chunky riff with vocals spat out, aptly by a band who have supported punk legends such as The Vibrators and The Lurkers.
However, it’s far from the one-dimensional stereotype that acts of that era are sometimes labelled with, its guitar work drawing from post-punk perhaps (Magazine or Joy Division).
‘Bit of Shit’ and anti-war polemic ‘Bullets’ are more straight-down-the-line pogo-friendly tunes, although drawing perhaps from US acts like Misfits or Black Flag which will set them in good stead for more live shows with their old peers.
