The Rotations

Another great release from The Rotations, who push garage rock into the double garage. This is so garagey it should come with its own Ford Cortina, fur-trimmed dashboard… (sorry, that is a Jam flashback – wrong review)

This is the lead track on a four track EP and boy does it sound good – the Rotations manage to channel the motherlode of The Cramps while making it utterly of the moment, like raw and uncut, grinding and pulsating, grimy and horny as fuck.

This is a down and dirty racket, and maybe an improvement on previous releases – some female backing vocals and keyboard supplementing the sound. But the vocals reign supreme as the ultimate warning to stay inside when this is happening unless you want to be seriously rocked, and rolled…
