Genre dullards will have fun placing Super Adventure Club into just one or even two; make no mistake, this album deserves to go into some kind of weird little psychotic genre of its own, stood in the corner trying to headbutt wasps. Or something.
Pleasingly experimentation is not an excuse for a lack of quality control from the Glasgow triplet, far from it. ‘Dog With Two Dicks’ is pleasingly deranged, from the opening ‘Dog with two dicks, dog with two dicks’ chant to some jarring time changes and is a perfect centrepiece for the album overall.
