Now, some will recall the 1980s as a musical decade that is best forgotten, but this Fife quartet choose their influences well – swirling guitar work of Ride and Slowdive, just the right amount of funky rhythms and when the squall of noise drops out, spacey vocals in the best Roses tradition.
That’s not to say they’re copyists mind, this is a fine headnodder of a tune in its own right that should soundtrack your indie disco when this Covid nightmare ends.
