This is a nice track to have in these times. It sounds quite dreamy at first, draws you in and makes you want to get nice and close to it.
The rumbling bass and backing vocals that kind of yodel distantly at you make for a warm sound, reminiscent of early Charlatans and The Stone Roses, circa their first album.
That means it’s quite funky underneath also. It’s not an in-your-face release, more the kind of music that wants to keep you company and make you think at the same time. We need this kind of music in this country right now.
