You are made to feel as though you are on one of those great waterslides that starts off slowly. Then you are scooped up, every twist and every turn revealing a new, unexpected and very welcome sensation.
You give each track a wee bit of your own personality, because you kind of feel you have to. You end up going places in your head as you are listening to the album, creating your own characters and your own little mini dramas to meet up with each note.
I say that with my tongue in my cheek, however. This is a very slow and sinuous album. It is full of icy peaks and then lots of nice long smooth bits before the next slide and peak smacks you right by surprise.
