Another year, another promising compilation from Rough Trade. The word ‘eclectic’ is thrown around too often when describing mix-CD’s but here there really is no other word to use. The collection jumps from genre to genre leaving no stone unturned and providing a few gems. Chances are you won’t like everything on here, but in a way, that’s the beauty of it. Battles, Of Montreal and Dan Deacon all make an appearance and Scotland is represented by Glasvegas with their track ‘Daddy’s Gone’.
A splendid compilation that continues the trend of Rough Trade offering their followers something new.
