‘You As You’ is lo-fi at its best. What starts out as a precious, minimalist track slowly burns towards euphoric, white noise conclusion. With distant vocals adding to the ambiguity of the track, searing static masks the beautiful piano line that remains constant throughout. Even if it is a bit one dimensional, the b-side, ‘Abu Dhabi’, more than makes up for it.
