Randolph’s Leap

(You Can't Put The) Brakes on Love' (Olive Grove)

By • Apr 10th, 2020 • Category: Album review

Rather strangely parenthisied, ‘Brakes on Love’ is the lead track from Adam (from The Leap)’s solo self-isolation album. The other tracks are also great, especially ‘Snow Upon A Blue Sky’ but ‘Brakes’ is a great singalong track with almost a Motown feel; it just grooves on in greatness and is probably just the thing that self-isolated people climbing up the wall need at the minute, to dance around their kitchens to…

BM is gutted that such great music cannot be heard live at the moment (remembering that Glad Sauna gig last summer, what we all would not give for that now…).

However, for now, this release is truly something else – maybe Adam should self-isolate for a week every year!
