A new Ramones DVD covering the 20+ year career of the American punk pioneers, has been released. The 2-disc set, whose 4-year making process inviolved Tommy Ramone as music supervisor, features four hours of rare and previously unreleased concert footage, and over 100 songs. On ‘It’s Alive 1974 – 1996’ is material filmed on New Year’s Eve in 1977 during a show at The Rainbow Theatre in London, which was released in 1979 as the ‘It’s Alive’ album. There’s also footage from a 1982 show at the US Festival in San Bernardino, California.
