Formed, by their own admission, in “a well-known Soho dive bar”, Ligaments are so enthusiastic that they sound in danger of being torn apart (torn ligaments, anyone?).
And starting off with a track called ‘Precinct 13’ is tantamount to a real assault on the senses. Like the film it takes its title from, this track is a short, sharp burst of pure aggression, which has not fat and takes no prisoners.
Ligaments, as their name might suggest, are true hardcore punks. Three chords are all they know. They play very fast. They play very hard. They have a real DIY ethic at their heart.
A little more finesse would not go amiss but this is basically good stuff.
