“Do you remember when the music was fun?” is just one of the many nostalgic questions in GoGoBot’s new single, suitably titled ‘Do You Remember?’ The electro pop-rock track is the third single to be released from the band’s ‘See Saw Series’ album, and is filled with just as much funky synth, thumping bass and a huge chorus to kick off any disco. ‘Do You Remember?’ is the collaboration between the GoGoBot members, Marko Kelly (lead vocals and guitar), Rosie McClune (bass) and Gordon McNeil (drums), and LA music producer Paul Lani, who has worked with heavyweights such as David Bowie, Prince, U2 and Robbie Williams, to name a few. The single’s artwork will be from Glasgow based artist Erin McGrath, and the video featuring Canadian comedian Stewart Francis, a fan of the band’s unique and eclectic sound. Since GoGoBot appeared in 2010, they have been a tough band to categorize, with influences as assorted as Queen, Scissor Sisters, Muse and Bjork, but it hasn’t stopped people becoming increasingly attached to the Glasgow trio. Already having press coverage with their first two singles ‘Is This Love?’ and ‘First Class Fool’, and radio play on Radio 1 BBC Introducing, Clyde 1 and Original 106, the third instalment from the ‘See Saw Series’ is all set to dominate your feel-good playlists.
