Four bands got together for this highly successful fundraiser for Marie Curie.
The Human Is Not Alone project is named after a Laeto tune, for it is the band’s drummer Robbie Cooper who has gathered together a host of acts to help put together the fundraising compilation.
Even the likes of Fugazi have contributed tracks along with The Shipping News, Zu and Lapsus Linguae, although it’s a quartet of slightly less well-known, but decidedly rocking acts who perform in Edinburgh on the opening night of the three-date mini-tour.
The lineup includes current favourites Fat Goth, and is this music? favourites Hey Enemy, Vasquez and United Fruit.
The bands’ mini-tour (including Glasgow on Friday and Dundee, Saturday 21st) sees all monies raised go to the charity with the acts on the bill also donating to an impressive merch table. And of course, to the excellent compilation album, downloadable below.
