Another strident track from Errant Boy, the vibe is a wee bit West Coast of America, Paisley underground via REM, but there’s a load of Velvets in there as well – blending Teenage Fanclub and Orange Juice as well, just accumulating to a killer sound all of its own. Despite BM’s “all our memories” segment there, this is highly original and totally feral.
From the album ‘Memory Fractures’, it is also gloriously upbeat, something that many people need a lot at the present time.
The lyrics are about maybe young love and being a wee bit younger that this grizzled, chizziled reviewer, while the quirky guitar slides are pure genius – keep on strumming, man!
