Admittedly Iʼve never actually been to Ipswich but Echoes Fall seem suitably familiar with it to compare it with some confidence to a ʻcesspoolʼ. Come to think of it, I donʼt think Iʼve
ever been to a cesspool either. So like any good melodic deathcore outfit Iʼm guessing that most of the members of Echoes Fall had a fairly difficult time fitting in in the suburban idyll of Ipswich. Years of angst and difficulty obtaining rare, imported Hatebreed records from the only shop in town not too terrified to stock them certainly must have provided the necessary vitriol for these chaps to unite together and RAWK! This is fast, loud, angry, insistent, riff driven music delivered with aplomb and no small measure of skill. Whilst not yet delivering anything too different or indeed challenging Echoes Fall show at least some potential in their surprisingly rhythmic debut. Keep your eyes on Ipswich.
