De Rosa (acoustic) / The 17th Century / Tom Snowball @ The Goat, Feb 22

Glasgow, The Goat (Sunday 22nd February)

By • Feb 17th, 2009 • Category: itm? live

Another month, another of our regular shows in Glasgow’s salubrious west end. Last month’s Burns Night event saw a storming set from Monica Queen to a packed venue, ably supported by Invisible Republic and Ulric Kennedy and with free haggis and neeps and hangover-inducingly-cheap malt whisky from our friendly barstaff.

This month, a real treat. In the runup to the band’s sophomore release Prevention, De Rosa, in the form of singer Martin Henry, perform for us, in stripped-down acoustic form.

Support comes from the 17th Century – favourites at the regular itm? shows at the 13th Note – and old friend of the magazine (yes, that old), Tom Snowball.

8pm kick-off with the bands giving way to itm? DJs around 11pm. And yes, unbelievably, it’s free.
