Single review

Charli XCX

This is the debut single from 15 year old singer-songwriter Charli XCX (umm, how DO you pronounce, that, exactly?) It’s quite a catchy little number, in the vein of Santogold, Kate Nash’s more electro-type moments, and of course the queen of sheer sass, M.I.A. The original track is a pleasant enough dance anthem, with more pizazz than a lot of the singles I’ve heard this week. Lil’d Lucky Boy’s remix is perhaps the real killer track here.
