This sounds very interesting; lead song (‘Dead Disco Dancer’) starts with some babbling in a some odd language but very quickly re-engages with some equally odd vocals – what is this all about? Some echoes and effects then a breakdown sounding more African than British (I believe they hail from Brighton) – a bit ponderous towards the end, but lots of potential.
Second track (‘Lily’s Man’) begins to evoke Wild Beasts or something like it; no bad thing, with some epic moments. The two other tunes also show a lot of promise, very melodic and interesting lyrical themes, good production values, watch out for them in 2012, and it will be no be no bad thing.
