Powder Rooms

Northern Irish band The Q’s blend of punk and garage rock has led to them being named as one of the best new bands in Northern Ireland on BBC Ni ATL TV for two years running. Sounding like a mixture of the Undertones and the Stiff Little fingers, the praise is justified. ‘Powder Rooms’ is a ferocious romp about those messages scrawled in pub toilets, combining humour with a glorious tune which early Ash would have been proud of.
