Where, oh where to begin with such a disasterpiece? Perhaps the so called “irregular time signatures” of ‘In Rainbows’ which basically sound like the band are throwing themselves on top of their instruments. Or what about the vocals: A young woman wailing and screaming, similar to what you’d hear on Sauchiehall Street at 3am on Sunday morning. And let’s not forget the train wreck mash up of all the worst things about alternative rock, punk, metal and experimental jazz. Harsh? Well I urge you to go and listen to ‘Shock Doctrine’ and not also think “WTF!?”.
