Back from the dead and generally operating in the US, or so we think…
The track is sparse, laid back and rather interesting, Pete Murphy’s voice still to the fore, full of theatrical flourishes…
There is acoustic guitar and the unmistakeable bassline…
“I’ll never see the boys again, because I’m off to the funny farm”… plus some spoken lyrics about “not building a wall, but making a brick”… ok fair enough…
Nice to see them back, maybe not operating at full strength but an interesting oddity, and could be a grower…
(one of BM’s first published reviews was of ‘Burning From The Inside’ album in the Boclair Academy school magazine 1984, so always had a soft spot for this band..)
