Strong guitars and hair reminiscent of 1970s rock is what Bare Wires are all about.
The new single ‘Don’t Ever Change’ from the Californian trio abides by these self-set rules.
Their brand of ‘glam-infused garage rock’ providing happy sing-along summery anthems has made its way over to the UK via the emerging indie label Robot Elephant Records.
‘Don’t Ever Change’ is a rock and roll tune with heavy bass, simple lyrics and a laid-back-I-don’t-care vocal from Matthew Melton.
The B-side ‘Ready To Go!’ has a quicker indie feel to it which compliments the single well.
They’re sort of like an up-to-date, better, Status Quo. Keep your lids peeled for the LP due this year, and they’ll be playing in the UK soon as part of a European tour.
