Artesan are from Falkirk and this is their second single – it is a mordant slice of pop/rock with some crafty riffs and a resplendent lead vocal. Mid-paced and recalling some Verve and Oasis releases, it ends with a massive lead guitar solo before bowing out at around 3mins 30s. It is punchy and has a classic yet fresh rock feel to it,
The band include father and son combo Ronnie and Bryce Bissett on lead vocals and lead guitar respectively, and it is nice to hear Dickson Telfer (who has played with L-space) on bass. Following debut single ‘Feel Like Myself Again‘ is the kind of track that could win them a lot more fans.
