Starting with an electronic vibe, this track gets the attention… and the twiddled knob continues throughout the track…
This is a righteous slab of processed indiepop, processed because there is a filter (see above) or something over the whole track, rather cool actually. There is strumming guitar, bass and drums and it sounds a bit 80s, with some really hooky guitar flourishes as well. The vocals croon as people have done through the ages, and are very effective at emoting sexual jealousy, or something…
It actually reminds BM of ‘I’m Only Sleeping’ the Beatles, but that’s nothing here nor there – it is intense, nuanced and very sophisticated for what BM assumes to be a fairly new artist – respect due!
BM has to say that this is a bit of an earworm and could be soundtracking her entire week…
