Singles should, if they are doing their job properly, leave you gasping for more of the same. They should make you want to rush out, buy the album and gorge yourself on more of the same. This one, then, does its job admirably. What makes this all the more amazing is that it’s single number two from the same album. By this point, people are either getting familiar with the album, or else are getting familiar enough with it, thank you very much. This track crystallises beautifully what makes its’ parent album work so well. It is a short, sharp charge of adrenalin which will make your heart rate skyrocket. This band have made it quiet clear, right from Day One, that they want to bulldoze their way right into the world and to hell with anyone who gets in their way. This single, just like its parent album, is obviously the product of some very bruised and damaged minds. Only that type of psyche could produce such sounds as sinful and depraved as the ones on display here. For that alone, we should be truly grateful.
