Early doors at the Arches that night meant that much of the audience missed out on support Thought Forms. A shame, as the acoustics of the venue suited the band and their beautiful noisescapes.
65daysofstatic didn’t play the whole of The Fall of Math, unlike a few nights before in London, but their show included songs from almost all their albums, including, understandably, their last record Wild Light.
The Arches sound suits the band – while they weren’t deafeningly loud, they definitely did more than just tickle the audience’s eardrums.
Overall a brilliant gig that, despite the early 10pm curfew, lasted a full 90 minutes.
65daysofstatic keep proving that they are one of the top live bands around.
