OhOhOh (I Blame The Parents)

“OhOhOh” is an uninspiring plod through typical student band territory, lacking in originality and musicianship. Trying to find a place amongst the girl fronted bands like the Ting Tings, with chirpy, young, and accent heavy vocals this unfortunately falls a long way short of where it is aimed. It may be slightly jaunty, swaggering pop however there are not enough of those elements to fill any glass. Whenever I hear such a hollow song from a young band my mind always wonders, if this is the best they have what are the rest of their songs like? Strangely I am not allowed to find out as the second listed track “Affiliated” did not appear on the CD. Not their best day at the office.
