Simple Minds to headline Italian fest (August 1-2)

Regular visitors to the site will probably have noticed the banner ad for the Soundlabs festival, which has taken place annually since 1997 in Roseto degli Abruzzi, Italy. And since 2008 (I think) we’ve been giving it a plug, for no other reason that we like the sound of it – even if we’ve never quite made it there! In recent years they’ve mixed up acts like Mogwai and Glasvegas with local (to them) itm? faves like Giardini Di Miro and Zu.
This year the lineup for August 1st and 2nd includes A Hawk and a Hacksaw, Dum Dum Girls and Wave Pictures – as well as main headliners Simple Minds.
