Production Unit

A Little Hope (Highpoint Lowlife)

By Andy Reilly • Apr 10th, 2009 • Category: short players

There can’t be too many production units still working in Glasgow these days what with the credit crunch and all that (isn’t the credit crunch a great tool for lazy journalists and writers) but there is one Glasgow based Production Unit that can offer ‘A Little Hope’. And thankfully, rather than something boring like a job or financial salvation, it’s a neat building techno number which should be enough to people out of their stupor and moving again.

There may not be too much to it but what there is, is put together nicely and retains a vibrancy that makes repeated listens worthwhile. ‘Dem Sirens’ is a little darker and not as punchy but as a dup, they work well and showcase an emerging talent nicely.
