There are few things more gloriously indie (in the truest sense of that word) than a split single. Peter Parker were responsible for last year’s greatest single ‘Swallow The Rockets’ and whilst this isn’t quite as jaw-dropping it is still pretty damn great. Meanwhile Davey Henderson (see also: the Fire Engines, Win, Nectarine no.9) in his latest incarnation offers up another slice of Bolan meets Prince meets Beefheart. No polish whatsover -but when you’re Davey Henderson, you are free to do what you like.
