Brothers Ben and Adam Parker make up Nosferatu D2 and this is their first and only album having split the band in 2007, long before this release. Listening to it you are left wondering why they split because they could have been at the start of a great career.
They sound like they’re all over the place at points and that’s what makes you want to listen. Most of the songs sound like they’re on the verge of falling apart and yet they manage to hold themselves together, clearly driven by the passion of Ben and Adam. This is a band that believed in everything they sang about, you can hear the emotion in the music and vocals and that’s something that you don’t get too often.
On the basis that it’s all you’re ever going to get out of this band, it’s almost a must hear, if you don’t then there won’t be any more chances. You might end up cursing the fact that they split but more likely you’ll be glad the album ever saw the light of day at all.
