A nice track for autumn. Interestingly low-fi, nice female vocals sitting sweetly atop choppy guitars. Something of the Cardigans when they were at their best with a bit more of a flair for Neu and the Krautrock invasion. The chorus is perhaps a bit too knowing, but it’s well worth forgiving when the surrounding architecture is so good.
The obligatory remix that accompanies is far too clean, and frankly, the original version was more danceable. You get that they’re listening to the not-so-new-sound of Bristol but it’s nowhere near as good as the A-side.
