Malcolm Middleton

Fight Like the Night (Full Time Hobby)

The third single from Malcolm Middleton’s acclaimed album, A Brighter Beat, is another contemplative affair. Middleton is fast becoming a master of matching upbeat fuzzy guitar rock tunes with obscure and discontent lyrical themes. ‘Fight Like the Night’ is not quite as melodic as first single and title track from Middleton’s latest album but it does hold its own and offers some delightful co-vocals courtesy of The Reindeer Section’s Jenny Reeve.
