Maybe it’s just the recording but this new single from Glasgow’s Lost City Lights seems to have a lot more energy and volume in the vocals than anything else. ‘We Own The Night’ does have the potential to be the next pop-punk anthem for teenage recklessness as Scott McWatt declares “Don’t wait up for me. I’m gonna find some girls and have a real good time”, but sadly the music just fails to generate the same energy that McWatt delivers on his own.
