What You're Looking For
(LGM)
LGM are a Edinburgh 3-piece, making meat’n'potates rock. It’s obvious on ‘What You’re Looking For‘ that they do it well - that’s our constructive criticism for the day, advice we always dispense for very young and very angry acts - as LGM clearly are on the title track, save the odd “wooh”. All grungy guitars, they do have tunes and choruses as evidenced in the couplet “it’s a terrible thing you don’t know what you’ve done” which could resonate on Xfm - (that’s a compliment!). ‘Take Me By The Hand’ and ‘Honey Bee’ are more of the same, grungey hooky rock. ‘Jelly Baby’ is more pop but if anything more nondescript - LGM would be well advised to stick at what they know.
